A global perspective

Providing an international experience for students has been a part of the Harding story even before our first overseas campus in Florence, Italy, was established in 1980.

As the father of two students who each spent a semester overseas at our Italy and Greece campuses, I have seen firsthand the long reaching effects this type of experience has on students’ lives. The confidence and experience they gain promises they will never be the same.

I also have been privileged to witness the effect overseas campaigns have made not only on my children but also on many of our students who have heeded Jesus’ call to go into all the world on spring and summer mission trips.

In this issue we share a global perspective as four missionaries pour out their hearts in letters to their chosen fields, and students share life-changing experiences while in Florence for the first summer undergraduate research program held there.

Enjoy, and let us know what you think.
